Top 10 longest six in the cricket history

  Since the arrival of T20 cricket in the last few years, batsmen in cricket are often trying to hit big hits and due to these big hits, at times the ball is so far away from the batsman's bat that it is not even known. 

The reason is clear that the batsmen want to make the audience happy with the help of big hits. But in the meantime, the question arises as to which batsman would have hit the longest six in the history of cricket. So let us tell you about the  top 10 longest sixes in cricket history.

 1. Albert Trott: 

Albert Trott played for both England and Australia teams during the 18th century. Albert had hit a six that had crossed the pavilion of the Lord's Cricket Ground. It is said to be the longest six in world cricket history. Even after a century has passed, the record of such a long six has not yet been broken. 

2. Chris Lynn: 

Sixes in cricket are usually hit in every match, but there is a long discussion about sixes that are tall and tall. Because these sixes often thrill the audience. One such six was seen in the BBL tournament being played in Australia.

 Batsman was Chris Lynn of the Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes bowler Shawn Tait on the bowling attack. Lynn hit the ball from the top of the mid-wicket at such a long distance that the ball reached the roof of the stadium with perfect timing on Tat's 147 km / h ball. The length of this six was 121 meters and it was the longest six in BBL history.

 3. Kore-Anderson: 

In 2014, Koren Anderson, who holds the record for scoring the second fastest century in ODI cricket, hit a 120 meter long six off India's Ishant Sharma. The six was so long that the ball went outside the stadium. 

4. Yuvraj Singh:

 In the T20 World Cup in 2007, Yuvraj Singh of India hit a 119 meter long six off Brett Lee during the innings of 70 runs against Australia. This six was also wonderful because he used only his wrists for this.

 5. Daniel Christian: 

In the year 2015, Daniel Christian hit a 117 meter long six. In this match, the Hurricanes batted first and scored 173 runs on 9 wickets. No batsman could score big from Hobart and Christian was the highest scorer with 33 runs.

These sixes was scored by Dhoni in a match against Australia in the CB Series in the year 2011-12. The six was hit in the direction of the long off, which was a very big boundary of the stadium. But this six by Dhoni easily crossed that boundary and covered the entire 112 meters.

 7. Ejaz Ahmed: 

Ijaz Ahmed is a former Pakistani cricketer who was rich in amazing talent, but unfortunately he could not get what he deserved in cricket. This was done when Pakistan was playing against England in 1999. While chasing the score, Ijaz hit a six that the ball went across the stadium, causing a new ball to be brought into the stadium. In this match, two sixes were hit by Pakistan and both were hit by Ejaz.

 8. Chris Gayle:

Chris Gayle is far ahead of other batsmen in the world in terms of hitting sixes. In the 2010 World Cup T20 match which was being played between India and West Indies in Barbodas, Gayle hit such a huge six off Yusuf Pathan that the ball went outside the stadium.

 9. Shahid Afridi:

During the tour of Australia in 2005, Pakistan's Shahid Afridi hit a big six in Perth. The ball of Afridi hit the biggest dome in the stadium. It was one of the biggest sixes in cricket history.

 10. MS Dhoni: 

Dhoni had hit a long six once before. This is the year of 2009. Against New Zealand, Dhoni, with his helicopter shot, hit a jagged six of deep midwicket which went far and fell in the stands. 

Note: Sixes have been counted on the meter basis since the arrival of T20 cricket. Earlier this technology was not used. Therefore many long sixes are mentioned in this article but information about their meter has not been given.
