The former French international player was perfectly happy to play in the shadow of Cristiano Ronaldo during the Portuguese days in Madrid, and it was notable that Ronaldo always seemed more comfortable when playing alongside Benzema.
The former Olympique Lyonnais centre forward has had to take on more responsibilities since Cristiano Ronaldo's departure, a challenge he has not eluded. The French player has increased his numbers since he has become the reference in attack while continuing to assist and help his teammates see the door with ease.
The most normal thing is that he would have a World Cup in his record if he did not have entry to the calls banned. Despite this, he is one of our world's top forward.

9. Romelu Lukaku :

Age: May 13, 1993, Antwerp, Belgium.
Current team (2020): Inter Milan.
Romelu Lukaku is the 9th place holder in our article top 10 best center forward in the world right now.Romelu Lukaku spent a difficult season (2018/2019) at Manchester United last time, scoring just 15 goals in all competitions and losing his centre-forward spot to Marcus Rashford. However, it was still a risk for the Red Devils to get rid of the forward with a sale to Inter.
Early evidence suggests that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have made a mistake watching the Belgian's performance in Italy.
Lukaku has done an exceptional job taking Mauro Icardi's place at the San Siro, having scored 23 goals in his first 35 matches in all competitions. His touch remains erratic and his linking game still needs to be worked out, but Lukaku's credentials as an effective scorer cannot be questioned.

8. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang :

Age: June 18, 1989, Laval, France.
Current team (2020): Arsenal.
Having signed Alexandre Lacazette a few months earlier, some Gunner fans were a bit surprised to see that such a great effort was being made to take over the services of Aubameyang (29 years old in January 2018).
A total of 56 million pounds was paid to Borussia Dortmund (very close to entering the most expensive signings in football) in exchange for the centre forward and the reality is that it has been one of the few joys that have been in the Emirates Stadium in the last years.
The Gabonese international shared the Premier League Golden Boot with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah in 2018/19, scoring 22 goals in the English league and another nine in all other competitions. Sharp and fast, Aubameyang is a deadly finisher that is very difficult to stop.

7. Mauro Icardi :

Age: February 19, 1993, Rosario, Argentina.
Current team (2020): PSG.
Mauro Icardi is not what we will call a shy and retired footballer off the pitch, Inter supporters are aware. Controversy was never far away during Mauro's six years at San Siro, but there is no doubt that he more than made up for it, as evidenced by his record of 124 goals in 219 matches.
The Argentine player has continued in a similar vein since joining PSG on loan in the summer, finding the net a total of 20 times in 25 games. There is room for improvement in his facet outside the area but he makes up for it with an exceptional game inside it.

6. Roberto Firmino :

Age: October 2, 1991, Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil.
Current team (2020): Liverpool.
Firmino is not a typical center forward, like most of the players on this list. His qualities may be more of a midfielder than a striker, but Jurgen Klopp has used him as a forward at Anfield (voted the best stadium in the world) playing a false nine role that has paid off very well.
As you can see from their numbers and statistics, we are not looking at a born scorer. However, the qualities for which he stands out (intelligent, dynamic and technically gifted) make everyone who plays alongside him better. In this case, we are talking about the Salah-Mane duo.
Roberto Firmino's Statistics (2019/2020)
Liverpool (19/20) | Match played | Goals | Assist | Goals/ minutes |
Champions league | 8 | 1 | 4 | 629' |

5. Erling Haaland

|
Age: July 21, 2000, Leeds, UK.
Current team (2020): Borussia Dortmund.
Erling Haaland has burst into football today with goals. The Norwegian striker had a spectacular start to the season at RB Salzburg that caused Borussia Dortmund to undertake their signing in the winter market.
Despite being eliminated from the Champions League, he is still the top scorer in the competition at just 19 years old ... almost nothing. Also, their numbers in the Bundesliga are surprising, reaching the average scorer of the continental top scorer (Lewandowski).
It is quite clear that it is the present and future of this sport together with Kylian Mbappé. Much is expected of Haaland even though he is not even 20 years old. We can find him among the future signings of Real Madrid in the short term.
Erling Haaland Statistics (2019/2020)
Competition | Match played | Goals | Assist | Goals/ min |
Austrian Bundesliga | 14 | 16 | 6 | 61' |
Champions league | 6 | 8 | 0 | 65' |

4. Harry Kane :

Age: July 28, 1993, Walthamstow, UK.
Current team (2020): Tottenham.
Taking his boyhood club to the Champions League final was the culmination of some extraordinary years for Harry Kane. Starting from the lower ranks, he has become the star player and one of the best centre forwards in the world.
The England captain has scored 159 goals in his last five full seasons, winning the 2018 World Cup Golden Shoe and has reached 20 Champions League goals faster than any other player.
Slamming is Kane's most prominent attribute, but he's also a brilliant passer who often travels deeper to take possession and put teammates on the line. And although he is not a footballer who stands out for his speed, he is an expert in finding space in and around the penalty spot. A true all-rounder and a pure nine.

3. Kun Aguero:

Age: June 2, 1988, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Current team (2020): Manchester City.
Kun Agüero's days at Manchester City seemed to be numbered from the beginning of Pep Guardiola's tenure, but the Argentine international has shown his enduring quality to once again surpass Gabriel Jesús in the attacking centre hierarchy.
The 31-year-old's combination of play and his ability to push from the front have improved under Guardiola. It can be said that he has become a more complete and better forward. However, his forte is still getting the ball deep into the net, and there are few more effective players than City's top scorer.
Kun Agüero Statistics (2019/2020)
Manchester City (19/20) | Match played | Goals | Assist | Goals/ min |
Champions league | 3 | 2 | 0 | 98' |
Premier league | 24 | 16 | 4 | 91' |

2. Cristiano Ronaldo:

Age: February 5, 1985, Hospital Dr Nélio Mendonça, Funchal, Portugal.
Current team (2020): Juventus.
I hope no one will be offended if they don't see Cristiano Ronaldo as the best striker in the world. We are evaluating the players in their current form and although CR7's numbers are good, there is one more inspired player. That does not mean that the Portuguese striker is not one of the best in the world, but we evaluate the figure of a pure centre forward.
Cristiano's season is being good, although the comparison with other seasons overshadows his records a bit. We are talking about one of the top scorers in history, and his greatest enemy is himself.
La Vecchia Signora will seek to go far in the Champions League, the club's great goal since the Portuguese landed in Turin.
In Serie A, the classification is quite open and the goalscoring duel with Ciro Immobile at the moment falls on the side of the Lazio player. We will have to wait to see how the season ends going to door.
If we were talking about his numbers at Real Madrid, we would be talking about the best striker in the world.
Cristiano Ronaldo's statistics (2019/2020)
Juventus (19/20) | Match played | Goals | Assist | Goals/ min |
Champions league | 8 | 4 | 1 | 178' |

1. Roberto Lewandowski :

Age: August 21, 1988, Warsaw, Poland.
Current team (2020): Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski has been in spectacular form this season. The Pole turned 31 in August but somehow seems to be getting better and younger. He has reached and surpassed the 40-goal mark for the fifth consecutive season, a record on par with very few centre-forwards.
He is also more than just a scorer, adept at combining with his teammates and serving as a focal point for both the club and his country. With Lewandowski leading the lead, Poland will be present at Euro 2021 and it is not ruled out that it could be one of the tournament's covered teams.
His scoring ability together with his technical and tactical control make him one of the most complete players in the world. If we add his tremendous scoring success this season, he is considered the best centre forward in the world today.
He has been a key element in Bayern Munich's successes this season, winning the Bundesliga, the German Cup and the Champions League. He is deservedly the best striker in the world this season.
Roberto Lewandowski's statistics ( 2019/2020)
Bayern Munich (19/20) | Match played | Goals | Assist | Goals/min |
Champions league | 10 | 15 | 6 | 59' |
Bundesliga | 31 | 34 | 4 | 81' |
DFB pokal | 5 | 6 | 0 | 66' |

NOTE: We have left Luis Suárez (FC Barcelona) out of the list due to his form in this season. If he got back in shape, he'd be in the top 10 forwards in the world
