Top 10 highest paid players in the IPL 2021

 On Thursday, all the teams selected their players for the 14th season of India's popular T20 League IPL. During this time, 57 players of the country and abroad received a heavy bid on the auction. This was the reason that the auction held in Chennai on 18 February was voted the most expensive player in IPL history.

 Veteran all-rounder Chris Morris of South Africa was added by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 16.25 crore. Thus Morris overtook former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh in terms of the most expensive bid. Not only this, he became the second player to get the highest salary after Virat Kohli in IPL history. In such a situation, let's have a look at the top 10 highest-paid players in IPL 2021.

 The current captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli is currently the highest-paid player in the IPL. He was retained by RCB in 2018 for Rs 17 crore. The 32-year-old Virat has been commanding Bangalore since 2013.

 South African 33-year-old all-rounder Chris Morris has now moved up to second place in this list of top 10 highest-paid players in IPL 2021. The Rajasthan Royals team will give Rs 16.25 crore to Morris. Significantly, Morris was released by the Royal Challengers Bangalore team this year. Talk about Morris' IPL career so far he has played a total of 70 matches. In this, he has scored 551 runs at an average of 24 and a strike rate of 158.
