 Dwayne Bravo has taken 118 wickets in 103 matches for Chennai Super Kings. Ravichandran Ashwin has the highest number of 120 wickets in the IPL in CSK jersey. He has taken 120 wickets in 121 matches for Chennai super kings.

That means, if he can take 3 wickets in the opening match of the IPL against Mumbai Indians on September 19, Bravo will overtake Ashwin and become the highest wicket-taker in the history of the tournament for Chennai. However, Bravo will have ample opportunity to set the record throughout the tournament, even if not in the opening match.

Lasith Malinga holds the record for taking the most 170 wickets in the history of the IPL. The next three places in the list are held by Amit Mishra (157), Harbhajan Singh (150) and Piyush Chawla (150). Bravo is at number five in the list. So, Bravo can further strengthen his position in the list of all-time wicket-takers in the IPL this year.
