ICC world test championship's new rules

 The ICC has revised the rules of World Test Championship. The ICC has taken this decision due to Corona virus. The ICC has stated that a decision will be taken based on the percentage of points scored by the teams that reach the final of the World Test Championship. This simply means that the Indian team has suffered a loss from this decision.


The ICC released the rankings of the teams based on the points obtained, in which the Indian team has dropped from number one to two and Australia's team has moved to first place. The decision was taken at the ICC board meeting and the ICC has also informed it through its official Twitter handle.

 The ICC has calculated the percentage of points won by teams. Apart from this, the matches which were not held, their matches will be considered a draw. Australia has benefited from this ICC rule and India has suffered. 

 The Indian team currently has 360 points in 4 series and the team was number one in the table but based on percentage of points, Australia has moved ahead. Australia have 296 points in the 3 series but this team has 82.2 points and on this basis the Indian team fell behind. The percentage of marks of the Indian team is only 75.

 However, below the Indian team, the England team has 60.8 points. The Indian team will have to show a good game in Australia because India's poor game and better game in the New Zealand domestic series could cause India to lose. 

Australia has the best chance. The Australian team got the benefit of the new ICC rules even after being far behind in points from the Indian team. Which two teams go to the final of the World Test Championship next year.
